COVID-19 Update

Dance Classes

QUT Dance Society is returning to normal classes for Semester 1 2022 with precautions to keep our members safe. Due to room capacity limits, classes are limited to 30 participants. Currently, masks are required to and from the studio, and may be removed once dancing commences and socially distanced.

Staying Safe

We are always concerned with our members well being and safety. Here are some great tips from the World Health Organisation to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. QUT Dance Society has outlined a safety plan for its members and request all participants to agree to these rules.

  1. All dance attendants are required to sanitise/wash their hands prior to and at the commencement of classes.

  2. Members must adhere to social distancing ruling marked out by the cones and to follow Queensland Government's sports training ruling of "Get in, Train and Get Out".

  3. Members must use the QLD Check In App before entering the studio.

  4. Bring your own water bottle and equipment required for dance. There will be no sharing of water bottles.

  5. QUT Dance Society will only be accepting cashless payments for classes.

  6. If QUT Dance Society members are feeling ill or sick, they will be told to stay away and not to attend class.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. Don't forget to take care of yourselves and we hope to see you all in dance soon. Keep clean, keep safe and keep dancing!
